Chaperones

You can ask for a chaperone during an examination. Tell the clinician or reception if you would like one, preferably when arranging the appointment.

The clinician will explain the examination and ask for your consent. You can ask questions or ask for the examination to stop. If a suitable chaperone is not available, the clinician will discuss safe options with you.
